I am a teacher-librarian at Ridgecrest Elementary School in the Shoreline School District, just north of Seattle, Washington. I have taught at Ridgecrest since 2002 and was a classroom teacher and ESL teacher in Japan prior to working in Shoreline.
My passions are connecting students to literature and information, helping them make sense of the massive amounts of information they are exposed to every day, while keeping them grounded in books.
